In short

  • Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula sit in three administrations. We cast and plan shoots for each town, then report them as one Tricity campaign.
  • Punjabi-first content earns trust; Hinglish carries the rest. Many Punjabi creators also have audiences abroad, so we check where their followers live.
  • Lohri, the February Rose Festival, Baisakhi, Karva Chauth, Diwali and the winter wedding season are the Tricity's strongest campaign windows.
  • Planning sits in New Delhi, creators live in the Tricity, and we travel in for outlet launches. There is no Chandigarh office.

Influencer Gully plans and runs influencer campaigns in Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula from our base in New Delhi. We cast Punjabi and Hindi creators who live in the Tricity, brief them remotely and travel for shoots, outlet launches and meetups. We have no Chandigarh office, and the campaigns do not suffer for it.

The useful question for anyone hiring an influencer marketing agency in Chandigarh is which town they mean. The Tricity is one daily commute and three administrations: a Union Territory, Punjab and Haryana. A Mohali café, a Sector 17 showroom and a Panchkula clinic all call themselves Chandigarh brands, and they reach different people.

One search, three towns

TownCharacterGood forPlaces creators use
ChandigarhThe planned city of sectors, wide roads and heritage architectureRetail, cafés, salons, fashion, premium diningSector 17 Plaza, Sector 22 market, Sector 35, Sukhna Lake, Rock Garden, Rose Garden, Elante Mall
MohaliPunjab's side, with an IT belt, private universities and a cricket stadiumEducation, apps, real estate, gyms, new restaurantsMohali's phases and sectors, the PCA stadium, the Chandigarh University belt near Gharuan
PanchkulaHaryana's side, residential and close to the hillsFamily dining, health, home, weekend travelSector 5 and Sector 20 markets, Pinjore gardens, the road up to Morni

Plan creators by town. A Mohali launch needs people whose followers can reach Mohali in twenty minutes. A creator who lives in Panchkula can still cover a Sector 35 restaurant, but a viewer in Panchkula will trust a recommendation from someone who lives there.

Punjabi first, Hinglish second

Punjabi-first creators carry the strongest trust here. They post in Punjabi, in Gurmukhi captions or Roman script, and use music, humour and phrases that Hindi-first creators cannot fake. Punjabi music is part of the region's youth culture, and creators who work in that scene bring audiences that are loyal and easy to reach through audio.

Hinglish carries the education, apps and fintech briefs, because students arrive from Haryana, Himachal and across Punjab and speak a mix. We often run a Punjabi batch and a Hinglish batch side by side and compare cost per view.

Two cautions are specific to the region.

  • Diaspora audiences. Many Punjabi creators have a large share of followers in Canada, the UK and Australia. That helps a study-abroad consultancy or a bridal jeweller and wastes money for a Sector 35 café. Audience location is a core part of the Gully Score, and we show it for every creator.
  • Faith and symbols. Gurbani audio, gurdwara footage and religious symbols are not props. A creator who uses them casually can bring a backlash to your brand. Brand safety carries 10 of the 100 Gully Score points, and we read each creator's past content on this before shortlisting.

If the post is in Punjabi, the disclosure label may be in English or in Punjabi, and it must sit upfront, not at the end. Our ASCI influencer guidelines explainer covers placement rules.

What Tricity brands run campaigns for

Education and study abroad

Universities, coaching centres and study-abroad consultancies are a large part of the local economy. Student creators and recent alumni work best for admissions. Placement and visa claims must be provable, and we check them against what the brand can substantiate before a script is approved. See edtech and education.

Food, cafés and nightlife

Chole bhature, kulcha, parantha, lassi and butter chicken are everyday orders. Cafés and new outlets compete on interior, price and parking. Neighbourhood food creators help restaurants and QSR brands more than city-wide names.

Health and fitness

The region has major hospitals and a visible gym culture. Doctors, dietitians and physiotherapists who talk about treatment or nutrition must state their qualifications upfront under ASCI's rules, so we cast them with proof. See health, wellness and fitness.

Fashion, weddings and Karva Chauth

Phulkari, Patiala suits and juttis sit beside streetwear in the same creator feeds. Punjabi weddings generate months of outfit, jewellery and make-up content. Fashion and apparel brands can run groom and bride content in the same plan.

IT park and apps

The Rajiv Gandhi Chandigarh Technology Park and Mohali's startups employ young professionals who respond to LinkedIn and Instagram creators. See apps and startups.

Dates for Lohri, Baisakhi and Karva Chauth follow fixed or lunar calendars, and the Rose Festival is announced each year by the Chandigarh Administration, so we confirm each before locking a schedule. Guru Nanak Jayanti and other gurpurabs are best left to faith-led, respectful content rather than product promotion.

Where Tricity campaigns shoot

Sukhna Lake is the default for sunrise and fitness shoots. Rock Garden and the Rose Garden work for lifestyle and fashion on weekdays. Sector 17 Plaza gives a retail backdrop and a crowd, so shoot early. Sector 35 and Sector 22 hold restaurants and clothes shops that creators already visit. Elante Mall is controlled private property and needs permission for shoots.

On the Mohali side, new cafés and restaurants clustered around the phases are used for launches, and the PCA stadium belt works for match-day content. On the Panchkula side, Morni and Pinjore are half-day trips for weekend travel content. The Capitol Complex, part of Le Corbusier's UNESCO-listed work, is a controlled site, so we ask for permission well before a shoot date.

Where Tricity briefs go wrong

Four problems come up again and again in local briefs, and each is cheap to avoid.

  • A bio that says Chandigarh and an audience that does not. A creator can live in Sector 21 and still have most followers in Ludhiana, Amritsar or Toronto. Ask for the city split before you ask for the rate.
  • One script for three towns. Panchkula viewers lean towards Hindi and Haryanvi, Mohali towards Punjabi. A single Reel script usually fits one of them well and the others badly.
  • An outlet launch without a time slot. Creators arrive when it suits them, the kitchen is slammed and the first Reel shows an empty room. Staggered tasting slots of 45 minutes fix it.
  • Parking and permissions left to shoot day. Sector 17 gets crowded on weekends, mall management wants notice, and a drone shot near the Capitol Complex or the airport side is not a casual request.

Chandigarh is also a launchpad for hill trips. Cab, stay, apparel and gear brands use Tricity creators for Kasauli, Shimla and Manali content, since many of them make the drive as a routine weekend. That makes the Tricity a good base for travel and hospitality campaigns even when the brand's own address is in the hills.

How we run it across the Tricity

  1. Brief and call. We need the town, the buyer and the goal. A footfall goal tells us to cast within twenty minutes of the outlet.
  2. Plan in 48 hours. The plan separates creators by town and by language, with the Punjabi and Hinglish batches priced side by side.
  3. Vetting. The Gully Score checks audience split, engagement quality, buyer fit, craft and brand safety. Punjabi scripts are reviewed by someone who reads Punjabi.
  4. Contracts and approvals. Each creator signs a contract with deliverables, label, usage rights and two revision rounds. You approve scripts and drafts.
  5. Launch support. A strategist travels from Delhi for outlet launches and creator meetups, and arranges a run of show through our creator events service.
  6. Reporting. A weekly tracker and closing report show cost per view, per save and per redemption by creator.

What a Tricity campaign costs

These are national asking-price ranges for micro-influencers (10K to 100K followers), which carry most Tricity work, per creator and per deliverable:

FormatRange per creator
Instagram Reel₹8,000 to ₹80,000
Instagram Story set₹5,000 to ₹20,000
Static or carousel post₹5,000 to ₹50,000
YouTube Short₹8,000 to ₹40,000

Nano creators cost less (Reels ₹2,000 to ₹10,000) and often work for food or product plus a small fee, which suits a new outlet. Letting a brand run a creator Reel as an ad typically adds 30 to 50 percent to the fee. Use the influencer cost calculator to size a first budget, and read the influencer rates guide for how the ranges were built. Creator payments go out with TDS handled; see TDS and GST on influencer payments.

The Tricity in a national plan

A Tricity brand is rarely only a Tricity brand: Delhi shoppers cross over, and customers from Haryana and Himachal drive in. Pair this page with our pages on an influencer marketing agency in Delhi and in Gurgaon, and add Jaipur if you sell wedding wear or craft. The city hub lists every market, and our guide to influencer marketing in India covers the fundamentals. Anyone comparing an influencer agency Chandigarh brands can hold to account should ask which town each creator actually reaches. To start, send a brief and expect a Tricity plan, with shortlist and cost estimate, inside 48 hours.

Frequently asked questions

Do you cover Mohali and Panchkula as well as Chandigarh?

Yes. Most brands that ask for an influencer agency in Chandigarh want the whole Tricity, because shoppers and students move between the three towns every day. We shortlist creators by town, so a Mohali outlet gets Mohali-based voices, and report the results together or separately, whichever you prefer.

Should my campaign be in Punjabi or Hindi?

For food, music, weddings and local retail, Punjabi-first creators usually feel more genuine. For education, apps and fintech, Hinglish reaches students from Haryana, Himachal and Punjab alike. We often run both and compare cost per view. See regional language influencer marketing for how we cast by language.

Do Punjabi creators have audiences outside India?

Many do, especially in Canada, the UK and Australia. That is useful for study-abroad, jewellery and wedding brands but wasted on a Sector 35 café. Every creator we propose comes with an audience split by city and country taken from their own insights, scored in the Gully Score.

What does an influencer marketing company in Chandigarh charge?

Two lines make up the bill: creator fees, which follow national bands by tier, and the agency fee, which published benchmarks put at about 15 to 25 percent of creator spend. A Tricity micro creator Reel sits in the ₹8,000 to ₹80,000 band. Our influencer rates guide explains what moves a quote.

Can creators shoot at Sukhna Lake, Rock Garden or the Capitol Complex?

Public places such as Sukhna Lake and Rock Garden work for most handheld shoots, though rules on tripods, crew and commercial use can apply. The Capitol Complex is a controlled, heritage-listed site and needs permission. We check the rule for each spot at the planning stage.

When should a Chandigarh jeweller or salon plan for Karva Chauth?

Brief us about six weeks ahead. Karva Chauth content peaks in the ten days before the festival, with mehendi, jewellery, outfit and make-up Reels. A micro-influencer campaign usually goes live two to three weeks after plan approval, so six weeks leaves room for edits and ads.

How do we measure footfall from influencers for a new outlet?

Use a creator-specific offer or code, a short story-link to the map and a question at billing about how the customer heard of you. Add views and saves from each creator. Our guide to measuring influencer marketing ROI shows how to set it up.
