In short
- Noida is not Delhi's suburb in content terms: its audiences are media and IT professionals, university students and new apartment owners, each reached by different creators.
- Film City in Sector 16A gives the city a deep bench of video editors and presenters, which makes fast UGC-style production practical here.
- Handset and electronics factories, plus Greater Noida's expo venues, make Noida a natural base for tech launches, unboxings and factory-floor content.
- Check pin codes and sector split before booking: Noida straddles Delhi and Uttar Pradesh audiences, and a creator's followers may live in neither.
Noida is a planned city, and planned cities are read by number: Sector 18 is retail, Sector 16A is media, Sector 62 is offices, and the sector you shoot in tells you who you reach. Influencer Gully plans Noida and Greater Noida campaigns from New Delhi, using local creators from campus ambassadors to tech reviewers, and returns named creators, formats and costs 48 hours after the brief call.
Noida shares a Metro line and a border with Delhi, but it should not share a brief. It sits in Uttar Pradesh, its audiences are different, and its anchor industries are different. Here is how we think about it.
Four Noidas, four creator audiences
| Noida | Where | Who is there | Creator types |
|---|---|---|---|
| Media and retail | Sectors 16A, 18, 27 | News and TV professionals, shoppers, young professionals | News explainers, lifestyle, food, fashion |
| Offices and IT | Sectors 62, 63, 125, 135 and the Noida Expressway belt | IT and services staff, coaching students | Career, tech, productivity, finance |
| University belt | Greater Noida: Knowledge Park, Sector 125 and nearby | Students from across India | Campus, student life, apparel, edtech, food |
| New residential | Noida Expressway and Greater Noida West | New apartment owners and young families | Home, parenting, interiors, local services |
Most "Noida" briefs are really one of these four. A Sector 18 café does not need Greater Noida West followers, and an edtech app wants the university belt and Sector 62, not the Expressway towers. We ask which Noida you mean before we shortlist anyone.
Film City and what it means for production
Noida Film City in Sector 16A hosts TV news channels and production studios, and the sectors around it tend to be a practical place to find editors, camera operators, graphic designers and on-camera presenters. For brands this has two practical effects. First, UGC-style production is fast and relatively easy to staff, which suits creator-ad programmes that need many short assets. Second, news-explainer formats come naturally here: a creator who can explain a scheme, a launch or a product in two clear minutes is easier to find than in most cities.
Where a brief calls for news-style delivery, we are careful about claims. ASCI's rules apply to creator content however serious the tone, so we check statements against what the brand can substantiate. See our ASCI influencer guidelines explainer for the rules we apply.
The electronics and handset belt
Noida and Greater Noida are one of India's major electronics manufacturing clusters. Samsung runs a large mobile factory in Noida's Sector 81, other handset makers have plants in Greater Noida, and component and accessory suppliers cluster around them. The India Expo Centre and Mart in Greater Noida hosts trade shows, including the Auto Expo in earlier editions.
For creator campaigns this gives three options. Tech reviewers and unboxing creators suit launches and are priced above lifestyle creators at the same size, with published rate cards at 1.3 to 1.5 times. Local micro creators in Hindi suit mass-market gadgets and accessories. And brands that manufacture locally can offer factory-floor or supply-chain content, which is rare and holds attention. See tech and gadget influencer marketing for the formats.
New Noida: the apartment-tower audience
Along the Noida Expressway and in Greater Noida West, thousands of households have moved into new high-rise societies in the last decade. They buy interiors, modular kitchens, appliances, groceries, clinics, insurance, schooling and local services in a short window after possession, and they trust neighbours more than ads.
Creators who live in comparable towers, such as home, parenting and interiors creators, show real society life: clubhouse, parking, pet rules, school bus stops. That makes their recommendations credible to the next buyer in the same tower. We pair them with a local offer, a booking or WhatsApp link, and creator ads within a radius of the showroom or service area.
Languages and niches
Hindi in its western-UP form is the base language of the city, with English and Hinglish among IT and campus audiences, Punjabi in older communities and Bhojpuri among migrants from eastern Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Student, tech and career creators are the strongest niches, followed by food and home. Because Noida sits on the Delhi border, a creator's followers may be mostly in Delhi, in Ghaziabad or across the country. Our Gully Score audience check looks at city split before a name reaches your shortlist; see how we work.
Campus and coaching campaigns
Greater Noida's university belt and the coaching institutes around Sector 62 put a large student audience within one Metro corridor. Edtech, test-prep, apparel, fast food, banking and PG-housing brands all want it, and they all arrive in the same two weeks of the year. The campaigns that work are the quiet ones: a final-year student explaining how they pick a course, a campus ambassador running a hostel-room giveaway, a food creator doing a late-night canteen trail.
We cast student creators and campus ambassadors with small but engaged audiences, check each campus's rules on commercial activity before any event is planned, and brief for how-I-use-it content rather than ad reads. Claims such as guaranteed selection, ranks or salary outcomes need substantiation under the ASCI code, and we ask the brand for proof before creators repeat them. See edtech influencer marketing and creator ambassador programmes for how a semester-long programme is structured.
The Noida calendar
Noida's year has fewer city-wide events than Delhi's and more society-level and campus-level ones. Festival dates move each year with the lunar calendar.
| Window | Moment | What brands do |
|---|---|---|
| February to March | Campus fest season, Holi | Event sponsorships, apparel, skincare, beverages |
| March to April | Chaitra Navratri | Ethnic wear, fasting foods, local retail |
| June to August | University admission season | Edtech, PG housing, stationery, student banking |
| September to October | Festive sales, Navratri, Ramlila and Dussehra | Electronics, appliances, fashion |
| October to November | Dhanteras, Diwali, Chhath | Gifting, home décor, sweets, jewellery |
| Trade-fair months | Expos at Greater Noida's India Expo Centre | B2B launches, product demos |
| November to February | Wedding season | Wedding wear, venues, photographers |
Admission season is Noida's quietly largest campaign window. A coaching, edtech or student-housing brand that wants a seat in a first-year student's phone should brief creators in May, before results and counselling open. Greater Noida has also hosted international motorsport at the Buddh International Circuit, including Formula 1 from 2011 to 2013 and MotoGP Bharat in 2023, which show how event-led content works here when a major event is on.
Where Noida content gets shot
- Sector 18: the Atta Market street, DLF Mall of India and Gardens Galleria; the busiest food and fashion backdrop, with weekend crowds.
- Film City, Sector 16A: studios and the media belt, useful for news-style and studio shoots with the right permissions.
- Sectors 62 and 63: office parks and cafés for career and productivity content.
- Worlds of Wonder, Sector 38A: an amusement park for family and youth content.
- Okhla Bird Sanctuary and the Botanical Garden area: green backdrops near the Delhi border.
- Greater Noida: university campuses, the expo venues and Buddh International Circuit for student, trade and motorsport content.
- Society clubhouses: best for home and parenting content, with resident-association permission.
Noida's Aqua Line and Blue Line Metro help with sector-to-sector moves, so we plan meetups near a station.
How we run it in Noida
Our process follows the six stages on how we work. In Noida we do four things differently. We cast by sector and audience pin code before we cast by niche. We use student creators and campus ambassadors for the university belt, working with each campus on rules for brand activity. We build UGC production around the local talent pool for fast creator-ad assets. And we schedule launches and meetups near a Metro station, since our team crosses the Yamuna for shoots and events.
What it costs
Noida audiences often respond best to nano and micro creators, whose engagement benchmarks are the highest of any tier: our rates data puts nano Instagram engagement at 5 to 10 percent and micro at 3 to 6 percent. Anything well below those bands on a small creator needs explaining before we book.
| Deliverable | Typical range per creator |
|---|---|
| Nano (1K to 10K) Reel | ₹2,000 to ₹10,000 |
| Micro (10K to 100K) Reel | ₹8,000 to ₹80,000 |
| Micro YouTube dedicated video | ₹20,000 to ₹1.2 lakh |
| Mid-tier YouTube integration | ₹60,000 to ₹2.5 lakh |
Product-seeded barter works well for campus and gadget campaigns, but it has tax and disclosure implications; our barter collaboration guide explains them. For the full build-up see the influencer rates guide.
How Noida connects to nearby cities
Delhi is the creator and shoot hub next door, and Gurgaon adds corporate and startup buyers across the capital. Lucknow extends a campaign deeper into Uttar Pradesh, where Hindi-first creators carry large audiences. For background see our guide to influencer marketing in India and the cities hub. Frequently asked questions
What does an influencer marketing agency in Noida do differently from one in Delhi?
It casts for Noida's own audiences: media and IT professionals, university students in Greater Noida, and new homeowners in the expressway and Greater Noida West towers. These groups follow different creators from Delhi's café and market crowd. We cast by sector and pin code, not by 'NCR' as a single block.
Can you run campus campaigns at Noida universities?
Yes. Greater Noida's university belt, including Amity, Sharda, Galgotias, Bennett and Shiv Nadar, is a strong audience for edtech, apparel, apps and food. We use student creators and campus ambassadors, time launches to admission season and fest dates, and confirm each campus's rules on commercial activity. See brand ambassador programmes.
How much does influencer marketing cost in Noida?
Fees follow tier, niche and rights, not the city. Nano creators are often the right fit for campus and society offers, at about ₹2,000 to ₹10,000 per Reel, and micro creators run about ₹8,000 to ₹80,000. Management fees come on top. See the influencer rates guide or the cost calculator.
How do I choose the best influencer marketing agency in Noida?
Ask whether the agency can show a creator's audience by city, not just follower counts, because Noida audiences straddle Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. Check the contract, the vetting score and a sample report. Our guide to choosing an influencer marketing agency lists the questions.
Can you do a tech launch with Noida creators?
Yes. Tech reviewers, unboxing creators and micro-creators in Hindi suit a launch, and Greater Noida's electronics belt makes factory-floor and supply-chain content possible for brands that manufacture locally. We stagger posts across launch week and run the best as creator ads. See tech influencer marketing.
Are you based in Noida?
No. We are based in New Delhi, across the Yamuna from most of Noida, and we run Noida campaigns with local creators from there. We attend shoots, campus events and launches in person when the plan needs it. We do not have a separate Noida office.
How do I reach new apartment owners in Greater Noida West?
Use creators who live in similar towers: home, parenting, interiors and local-services creators who show real society life. Add a clear local offer, a WhatsApp or booking link, and run the best Reels as creator ads within a radius of your outlet or site. See creator ads and whitelisting.
